About me

Mechatronics Engineer

I am a Mechatronics Engineer at Ain Shams University class of 2023 with hands-on experience in machine learning and robotics. I was born in Cairo, Egypt. My interest in engineering started in childhood. I was always amazed to see robots in TV shows, cars on highways, and simple appliances at home. I am always passionate about increasing the cognitive abilities of machines and robots, making their interaction with their environment smoother and smarter. Always seeking opportunities to contribute and improve my skills by working on projects and conducting research in robotics and machine learning.

Collaborative Assembly Serial-Manipulator using Reinforcement Learning

Still Under Development

This is my current graduation project which is working on ABB IRB 120 manipulator, at the Robotics Lab @ Ain Shams University. The main aim of this project is to allow the robot to autonomously assemble gearbox in collaboration with human.
Demos will be available soon.

Robusta - Autonomous Service Robot

Participated in a team to design, manufacture and develop a fully autonomous service robot that works in coffee shops controlled by ROS.

Step Scope

Developing a wireless, portable system with IMU and FSR sensors to monitor foot plantar pressure and gait of individuals with DFD or neurological abnormalities. The system provides visual feedback, gait parameters, shank kinematics, CoP, and stability evaluation. Data is transferred to a PC for analysis.

Industrial Robotics Project

A project which aims to control & simulate a 6 degrees of freedom manipulator robot using Moveit toolbox & Gazebo.

Rehablitation Robotics Project

A project which aims to apply different control algorithms on a single degree of freedom. Control techniques such as: Position Control, Force Control, Current Control, Impedence Control and Admittance Control.

Automated Marble Track

This is an undergradaute course project, where the concepts of the Mechatronic system design, and the V-model are applied to design, manufacture and develop a fully automated marble track.

Stepper Motor GUI using LabVIEW

A project made at the Electromechanical Systems Lab of University of Central Lanchasire (UCLan). Funded by a grant from Erasmus+.

Arduino RC Car

Participated in a team to design and manufacture RC car controlled by arduino for ihub robotics competition organised by Ain Shams University
